EUGENE YUFIT (b. 1962, Leningrad) - Artist, photographer, director, necrorealism founder. His paintings show humanity’s gloomy side, it runs counter to the bright socialist future. Heroes are creatures between the living and the dead. Painting is dynamic, like frames from a movie or animation. The photos are close to abstraction, laconic in composition. Works are black and white, color is a rarity.
