ALEXANDER MOROZOV (b.1974). Works in different media: object art, installation, graphic, video and painting. Member of the Parasit group.
Alexander Morozov pays attention to various artistic expressions, studying their boundaries and interactions. His projects raise some complex philosophical questions regarding the expansion of the model and the functioning of the structure of art. Also he studies the dichotomy of the concept nature vs culture outside the anthropological paradigm.
The artist's interests are the borders of art and the formation of cultural memory. Alexander Morozov is interested in art that has overgrown its formal boundaries, which has become philosophy, anthropology, sociology and life itself.
