ANDREY RUDYEV (b. 1966). In his parctice Rudyev is attracted by the idea of universalism, multipolarity, pantheism, the understanding that in this world everything happens simultaneously. The world consists of contradictions and yet at the same time is in a state of balance, everything has been going on for thousands of years, but our lifes are happening just right now. And all that remains from the so-called past in the so-called future is art, the possibility of creating which also exists only right now.
The relevance of an artist depends on his ability to reflect on the social life, but the quality of an artist depends on the ability to preserve the personal, inherent only to you property, says Andrey Rudyev. The ideas that fuel my creativity is born on the border between the universal and the personal. This principle influences not only my choice of subjects, but also the choice of material, technique and method for my works: perhaps, with all their diversity one can say that collage dominates in them, and the subject of creative research becomes the Civilization as a result of the most diverse manifestations of human activity.
