CERAMIC OBJECTS FROM THE "ERIDANI VOID" SERIES. 2026
The exposition of Vitaly Pushnitsky's Earth exhibition is complemented by ceramics from the Eridani Void series. The artist turns to utilitarian objects — simple clay vessels, transforming them into objects of metaphysical experience. Here, not only the material becomes important, but also the very idea of emptiness. Referring to Lao Tzu's statement that the essence of a pot is in its emptiness, the author considers ceramics as a metaphor for the human body and consciousness, in which time, memory and lived experience leave their mark. The works are created in collaboration with the master potter Vera Svetlova, and the artist's gesture becomes a way of turning a household object into a carrier of a new meaning.
