The exhibition featured three painting cycles created by Olga Tobreluts over the past 15 years, and the most comprehensive retrospective of her video art. She is the only and perhaps the last artist of her generation who is incomparably more interested in clouds and the sky than what is happening under her feet.
Olga Tobreluts knows how to discard all petty and vain things, step over all obstacles and barriers, and not be afraid of difficult tasks and unattainable goals. An outstanding visionary and a multifaceted personality, she was the first, back in the early 90s of the last century, to predict an unprecedented explosion of new technologies in art, and the first, as in the scheme, went into traditional painting. In the 1990s, she experimented a lot and boldly in the field of video and photography, creating a new artistic language using digital computer aesthetics. Today, these works are in the world's museum collections and significant private collections.
