Gorshkov²

7 june 2025 - 7 september 2025

For their joint project, the artists decided to switch places: Ivan Gorshkov will present his signature welded sculptures exploring female corporeality, while Sergey will showcase vibrant wooden reliefs based on figurative paintings. This is not merely a dialogue between father and son—it is a meeting of two philosophies, where tradition becomes a springboard into the unknown.

About the artists:

Sergey Gorshkov is a master with forty years of experience and one of the founders of the Voronezh gallery Kh.L.A.M. His works, held in the collections of 19 museums across the country, blend the naive expressiveness of folk prints with subtle irony. "Art is a magic cave that begins right beyond the door of reality," the artist says.

Ivan Gorshkov, on the contrary, breaks the boundaries of genres—his paintings, welded sculptures, and installations made of toys, moss, and photo collages give birth to new worlds. "My goal is to create tension with an untraceable source," he admits, turning chance into part of his artistic vision.
