The installation «Overcoming,» consisting of 312 graphic sheets depicting an extreme landscape, is housed in the Boiler Room of the Levashov Bakery, while paintings from the «Limen» series can be viewed in the lounge. The «Overcoming» installation was conceived by the artist over ten years ago and is theoretically based on Sigmund Freud's essay «Mourning and Melancholia». Visually representing the state of a person experiencing melancholy, the artist seeks to reveal its overcoming. The viewer, finding themselves inside the Boiler Room, becomes the central part of the installation. They can take in all 312 attempts at overcoming and embark on their own, internal journey.
