GRAPHICS

I began to make graphics: tearing the sheets and burying them in the ground for a couple of weeks at my parent's countryhouse, digging them out, leaving them in the rain, They are washed out by themselves. Then I combine them into one collage again. All these are some kind of traditional or folk rites : the Japanese tint the fabric burying it in the ground. On the same shovels with which I dig the ground, I expose these sheets. I've seen David Hammons' shovels in ready-made sculpture. I like this artist, and he is relevant to me . His work hasn't gone out of date, although he's doing the same thing now as he did in 1983 when he sold snowballs. He lived half his life in poverty and gained popularity when he was in his 70s.
