A series of collages by Jan Ginzburg is based on documents from the 70s from the archive of Eduard Limonov (1943−2020), a writer and politician.
Limonov came from Kharkov to Moscow in 1967 and made money by tailoring fashionable trousers. For him, joining the Moscow bohemia took place through fitting at home, patterns and threads, mutual favors.
Ginzburg uses Limonov's patterns of that time and parts of books, newspapers, everyday life, biographically or psychedelically connected with one or another customer.
